Vinnes is an independent architectural office based in Oslo, Norway. We focus on the simplicity of architecture and bring a clear vision with a strong concept to all projects. Vinnes make projects in different scales and have assignments for private, professional, public and planning. 

Today Vinnes is working with various type of projects which bring us different type of clients. We believe in an open dialogue and a including process with a will to seek new answers. Vinnes is member of NAL, (The National Association of Norwegian Architects) and act as a wildcard office in Norway.

Planning

Vinnes Arkitekter offers planning services as an integral part of its work in our projects. This includes the development of zoning plans, application processes, and adapting projects to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Regulatory work is essential to ensure that developments align with municipal plans and guidelines. Vinnes Arkitekter assists with:

Detailed zoning – Development of zoning plans that define land use, building heights, road layouts, and green areas.

Application processes – Preparation and submission of applications to the municipality for zoning changes or exemptions.

Coordination with authorities – Dialogue with public agencies to ensure project approval in accordance with the Planning and Building Act.

LANDSCAPES

All our projects are close connected to our landscapes and therefor we think building and landscapes as one project. We design places for all types of life and livable places. We design landscapes connected to our architecture prosjects such as housing, public spaces and nature in different scales.

INTERIORS

Interior design is an essential part of our projects. We integrate interior design as a natural component of our architectural solutions in every project. This means that we either collaborate with interior architects or design the interiors ourselves as an integrated part of the project.

about the studio 

Stian Vinnes Fammestad is educated at Bergen architecture school and Oslo School of architecture and design. After the studies he worked at Todd Saunders architecture in Bergen and Nielstorp + Architects in Oslo. In 2020 he started Vinnes Architects, based at Majorstua in Oslo. The office is now in a process of completing several projects.
